Welcome to October! As the shops start filling their shelves with plastic pumpkins, I will refrain from making an Autumn Leaves joke but we are well and truly in the season of those falling leaves... of red and gold...

Subpar humour aside, you can say goodbye to any hobbies you may have outside of improvised activities as you can find yourself a jam for almost every single day of this month. If that sounds a tad too repetitive, I would encourage you to check out the inaugural edition of SPLINTR Festival, which aims to amplify the voices of women, trans and gender-diverse folk in Glasgow's music scene.
